Can't get chinese working

I installed Rockbox (latest one) on 1st generation ipod nano
I have tried enabling unicode/cihnese language etc but it doesn't work..
I tried using Unifont and switched the language to Chinese-Simplified and it doesn't work (the words are in box :?)
How did they get it working like this:

I don't really know what the problem could be. Choosing unifont and a Chinese language file should work. For the tags of your audio files you need to choose the correct code page.

I have the same problem, finally I make it work through the below setting,
1. －Settings －General Settings －Display －Default Codepage －Simp. Chinese (GB2312)
2. －Settings －Theme Settings －Font －18-Fixed
3. －Settings －General Settings －Language －Chinese-simp

then it's working.
