simple questions :)
« on: May 10, 2008, 06:30:02 PM »
So i just bought, from my friend, an 8gig ipod nano. the new, 3rd gen ones.
for $130. I think it was a pretty good deal.
anywho..
and heres the thing.
i hate itunes.
and pretty much everything else the ipod stands for.
i want simple drag & drop. windows, whatnot.
you know what i mean.
and so i've been told....
that rockbox does this.

so can somebody please tell me..
what specifically rockbox does?
how i would go about getting rockbox
and all risks or benefits associated with it
thanks!

As noted on rockbox.org, the Ipod Nano 3G does not run rockbox.

Theres no 8GB Nano that works with rockbox, so just check the capacity.

So as a replacement for the 3rd gen nano...
What are my options for a 4gb ipod that would run rockbox?
.. as i am not too familiar with ipods.

-- all mini gens are supported?
