IRIVER H340 will only boot to USB Mode even when not connected to USB

I have RockBox V5 installed, and when I turn it on, it goes straight to Bootloader USB mode, even when not connected to USB.If I hold record, it goes to the Original IRIVER charging screen (and then to USB when I press play) even when not charging. It does still work as a USB drive under both of the above scenarios, but I can't get it to go to the main screens to play.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Something has been shortcircuited so the iriver thinks that USB has been attached. Anything happened to the it recently?
