wont play videos on the e200....

i installed rockbox correctly. so far its working fine with a few exceptions
1. it keeps making stuff hidden folders. i had to uncheck music as a hidden folder to access my music
2. it wont play the videos that played fine on the default firmware.
i got this rockbox so i could use sdhc to put lots of tv shows and movies on external storage and watch them on roadtrips.
 what should i do or what am i doing wrong?

Check the wiki, the manual, and the forums.  Both of these issues have been documented quite thoroughly.

P.S. The OF is hiding the folders, not Rockbox.

the videos that play on the OF are not mpeg-1 formatted.  they are something else.  rockbox will not play those videos.
