Help with updating.

So im kinda new at this. I got rockbox April 1st version working on my Sandisk e200, but my freind got the May 2nd version and it has a new game. So how do I update? I want to be sure so I dont end up wrecking my system. Thanks.

To Update, just reextract a new rockbox.zip to your player, overwriting old files.
Or, if you use rbutil, just press the "Install Rockbox" Button again.

Ok, but what will happen to the my custom settings nad such? I have the sickest theme on there, but I don't wanna lose it.
Side Note: When emulating GameBoy games, why do they run so slow?

Your settings won't be affected by updating your build.

Your side note has nothing to do with installation or removal, so it should be asked in the appropriate forum section.
