Making a playlist

If I modify the dynamic playlist by inserting my own tracks, why when I save the playlist does it default to dynamic.m3u8 which will save in the root.  Even if I rename to playlist1.m3u8 it will save in the root, not in \playlists\ where you would expect to find it (with Playlist Catalog),  Am I doing something wrong?

It saves exactly where you tell it to... try renaming it to /playlists/playlist1.m3u8 if you want it in the playlists folder.

Should that not be the default, given there is a playllist folder & that is where the playlist calalog looks?

Not everyone uses the playlist catalog, or even has a /Playlists folder. Really there should be just a way to set the default prefix for the playlist save screen, independent of where the catalog is stored.

I see that this has been address in FS#8940.  As is said in the patch, it is much easier to delete the "/playlist/" to store in a different location, than it is type it.

Is there any chance of this being committed?

It needs to not remove existing functionality.
