*PANIC* ATA: - 71 what does it means

afaik there is a daughterboard that hosts the usb and IDE and sometimes suffers broken solderings on the connection to the main board.

broken solderings are fairly easy to spot, touch it with a (fine) solder iron to reflow the solder

I found a couple of suggestions on misticriver to resolve this.  A couple of pictures too.

I really couldn't see any broken solder connections.  If I can't find anyone handy with a soldering iron I might give it a try myself.
