Not all songs get showed on rockbox
eekhoornstaartlolly:
.... i'm sorry, I meant 30 Gigabyte.
Well that's the problem, i have lots of songs to check it. it appears to have 10 megabytes missing. rockbox shows 12.87 GB, and the ipod (in the window of iTunes) shows 12.86. (srry I was wrong last time). And the Foto's from albums etc have been placed next to it.
could this be because of some minor differences in some files which pile up and now it shows.
I am now making a root playlist so i can easely find how many songs rockbox finds on my iPod. First am synchronising my iPod again. After this i will refresh it so all songs should be shown.
---------------------- EDIT--------------------------
I just made the root playlist, it shows 2597 songs, while I have 2605 songs in iTunes... it ain't much,, so it ain't really that big of a problem though ir eally like to know where those songs went to ?
NOTE: I have let the iPod refresh the database so long as possible, when he was done he even shut down on his onw (timer/ or night clock, or whatever it is called).

Did you create the playlist from the file browser or Playlists / Create Playlist? If so, it will contain all files on your player -- i.e. the missing files are not physically present on your player. Which makes this a sync issue with Itunes and not a Rockbox one. And in that case I don't think someone in here could help you, unfortunately.
eekhoornstaartlolly:
Well I did the create playlist on rockbox itself...
but does anyone would have an idea why this could be?
GodEater:
You've not actually answered bluebrother's question - check it again more carefully. There is more than one way to create the playlist.
eekhoornstaartlolly:
yeah I know, I took a root playlist on rockbox because i've never managed to make a playlist by iTunes. he doesn't show it on rockbox, nor was I ever able to make a playlist on rockbox that isn't a root
