How Rockbox charging the IPOD

Hello,

I;m using IPOD Video 5.5 30GB. I just using Rockbox so am a bit confuse about charging my IPOD with this firmware. According to manual, it is recommended to turn off charging during USB Connection. Herewith, is the quotation from the manual;

Charge During USB Connection:
    This option lets you control whether the player should charge during the USB connection and hence draw the full 500mA. Turning it Off is recommended if the dap is connected through an unpowered USB hub or a laptop port.

If that is the case, how Rockbox normally charge the IPOD. For time being, I turn this feature on. Hope somebody can enlighten me!

That's the important conditional.  If it's through a normal, powered USB port then it should be fine.

Thanks for info. I should read more carefully next time. Now I'm relieve to know this thing though.
