Playing iTunes music files on Sansa e260

What is the best way to get audio files from my iTunes library to show up and play on my Sansa e260?  On the player, the folder shows up on that the music should be in, but there are no music files in the folder

EDIT: Glow-effect removed for readability.

Please could you search the forum for the answer to this, as required by the forum guidelines. It gets asked many times. Like so...:

@bascule: Really? I've never seen this one before - didn't know too many people used iTunes with a sansa of any variety.

@reddog365: Your best bet really is to copy the music from the "My Music" folder it lives in on your PC directly to some folder on your Sansa (doesn't really matter where, although we never recommend you put your music inside the .rockbox folder structure).

There are addons for iTunes though which will allow it to "sync" with non-ipod players - you'd have to google for them though as their names escape me currently.

Well, I was making an assumption (sorry Llorean ;) ) that iTunes treats the target device the same, ipod or not, so that advice for one situation would fit the other.

i tried the copying method.  I copied some songs from my iTunes library directory straight to my microSD card.  Rockbox will see the name of the folder that the music should be in, but there are no song files inside that folder.  Is there something that i need to do to the files before i copy them over?
