Manual installer or Automatic installer?

Hi guys i was reading the manual and i was wondering do you guys recommend i use the automatic installer or the manual way?

Rockbox utility is simpler as it gives you a graphical interface.  It also gives you a single front end for downloading some of the extras like the font pack and themes.
