I use WMAs for my player due to they're smaller size, so I dont know if this occurs for other file types. You brought up a good point though

Ah, that explains it. The WMA decoder was updated to support resuming about 2 weeks ago, but it turns out it interacted badly with how skipping back to the beginning of the track was done. I don't know why it is implemented the way it is, but I can make a quick fix for this particular problem.

Sounds like a winner. I can't wait for the fix. Can you (IF possible) announce which firmware build this fix will be in?
