Sansa C250, song restart problem

(1/5) > >>

Hey, are there any sansa c250 users on here that use rockbox firmware? If so, do you experience a glitch while trying to restart a song? When you hit the rewind button, it will rewind like it supposed to, but the song will not restart for nothing. You have to go to the next song, and then go back to the previous song quickly in order to restart a song. It's annoying.

For the past 2-3 wks, rockbox's firmware has had this glitch, and I am talking about every single firmware upgrade too. Everything else about the firmware works fine though.

Please fix this problem a.s.a.p.

Thanks

I don't have a Sansa, but you should search on the bug tracker to see if it's been reported already, or report it yourself.

From your post, it sounds like you already are, but if I don't say it someone else probably will: before reporting a bug, make sure you are using the latest bleeding-edge just-downloaded-this-minute current build.

I am using the latest build. Notice that I said in my very last paragraph

"For the past 2-3 wks, rockbox's firmware has had this glitch, and I am talking about every single firmware upgrade too. Everything else about the firmware works fine though."

I tried every single update and all of them have this glitch. I first started using Rockbox around the first of this month or so and it was fine, but there was however, a problem with dead space after FFW or RWD-ing a song. I updated and the problem was fixed, but I updated again to see whatelse was done to it, and boy do I regret that I did that.

I tried to report this glitch on the bug page, but I honestly don't see anywhere on that page where you can report anything. There are no options.

You have to register for flyspray.  It's a separate registration to the forums.  Then once logging in, an "Add new task" link appears.

He asked because most people who say latest don't follow our definition of it. Considering there have probably been near a hundred builds in the last three weeks your statement that you've tried all of them makes me think you have been using the dailies? Or did you go back and compile all the revisions you missed while sleeping?
