sansa 250 rockbox crash reproducable with doom rotate screen 90 degree

i cant use the rotate screen 90 degrees on my sansa with the doom coming
with rockbox. If i do so the player will load the game up to the title screen then
the complete player/OS will crash and can only be remedied by soft reset.
i can reproduce that behaviour 100% all attempts.

The normal view mode works..but its rather stupid to play in that kinda of view angle.

Same thing happens to me, i'll submit it as a bug to the tracker unless someone has beaten me too it

Yeah that happens to everybody, but i notcied if you turn transparency and fake contrast off in options then it loads sometimes.

This bug is described in http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/8641.  I have attached a patch to the discussion there.  The patch fixes it on my e270.  The patch should work, if not edit it i_video.c manually.  I used the first suggested fix.
