iriver H10: Changing language to Japanese results with jibberish [solved]

I have an iriver H10 6GB with Rockbox on it.

When I change language to Japanese in settings menu, I get squares instead of characters. Also, songs which have Japanese tags show these squares instead of characters as well.

How do I fix this? Is there any other setting that needs to be changed/applied in order for this to work properly?

You need to use a font that supports those characters.  Poke around the wiki, there's some info there on what fonts support what characters.

It works with the 6+12x13 font. :)
