Cannot turn on Video 5G 30GB iPod (was: NEED HELP)

k. im not new to hacking. i know what to do. i was listening to my ipod 5th generation 30g on the regualr apple interface. i wanted to show my friends the rockbox hacks and everything so i reseted it with menu and select. the reset worked fine. i turned it off and then i was unable to turn it on again.i thought maybe the battery was drained although i did have a full battery. i got home and plugged it into my computer and nothing happened. i havent gotten any response at all from it after i reset it or anything. plz help

Welcome to Rockbox.  I can see that it's your first post here.  Please read the forum guidelines (located in the Announcements forum).

Do another reset.  If it's frozen you might have to hold the key combination for upwards of 30 seconds.

You already mentioned it in your first post:  Menu + Select.

I have noticed that a lot of people give up if it doesn't reset in the first 10 seconds or so.

Oh, and the reset procedure (including a hint that it might require a bunch of seconds) is documented in the FAQ. Please read it first.
(As you said you're not new to hacking I guess you're aware that it's good practice to read the FAQ before asking, do you?)
