does rockbox have all the wads needed for the included games?

I ask because there are many games included that say it needs a 'wad' of some sort.

There should only be one game that requires .wad files, Doom. We offer the free "Freedoom" wad as one of the extras downloads.

Pacman needs some ROMs which do not come with rockbox.

I got the 'Freedom' wad, do I just extract that into the games directory? I tried looking in the manual but couldn't find it.. I wish you could search in .pdf files..

I extracted those files into the games directyory and still has the error for doom

Depending on which software you use to read the .pdf you can search.  But even if you can't there's still a table of contents that should allow you to find the right section in the manual fairly quickly.
