Display filename instead of Tags

Saerg:
Hello
I installed RockBox on my Ipod Video (30GB) two days ago and it works perfect, exept one little problem  ::)

First when I loaded all my songs into the database I found that most of them had bad tagging (ex: 5 different spellings of Cornelis Vreeswijk, Swedish troubadour).

So I sat down with foobar and started to tag all my files with corrcect Artist and Album (ID3v2.4). I uninstalled Rockbox, cleared my iPod and sent over the newtagged songs with iTunes and reinstalled Rockbox. This time all the Artist/Album-tags was correct but I found that I have about 800 songs without title tagging at all.

Apples iPod software fixes this automaticly by using the filename instead of the title tag.
Can Rockbox do the same thing?

// Sincerely Saerg

Llorean:
When you use iTunes to sync songs, it renames the files anyway. There's no filename left for Rockbox to use.

Try using drag and drop to put music on your device, and simply browsing to them under "Files"?

Thank you. It works
But I need to consider this, I liked the idea about dualboot and this way its only working with rockbox :-\

Well, thank you for the quick answear  :)

bascule:
If your filenames are correct for the untagged songs, use MP3Tag or similar to automatically tag the files from the folder/filename.

Saerg:
Thanks a lot mate, you just gave me a couple of hours of work  ;D
