Ask and ye shall receive
« on: April 21, 2008, 08:59:33 AM »
I was a very disappointed user of the Sansa E250 and had written to Sandisk to complain of the shortcomings of the unit for the price.  I then discovered RockBox and what a difference.  I bit the bullet and installed it.  Previously the unit would not play video from the sd card, sorted tracks in the most insane manner I ever saw in any software and only worked with Windows Media Player 10+ (or Media Monkey 3).  Trying to get the mongrel to play tracks in the right order, whether the filenames were right or the mp3 tags were correct was just no end of useless frustration.  I was ready to eBay the damn thing.

RockBox rules.  I can store video where I want, don't have to get hung up on the mp3 tags I just play the filenames as displayed.  This is magic and I thanks the hard working team for their efforts.  I now have a player I love to use that serves my needs exactly.  ;D ;D ;D

Glad you like it. It's always nice to receive unsolicited positive feedback!

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
