New "Accessory Power Supply" feature
« on: April 20, 2008, 02:46:38 PM »
Will this help overall battery life if no accessory is connected because less power is being used overall? I am guessing you would have said if it did but I have to ask.

Exactly. Disabled power supply saves about 1.5mA on a 5.5G 30GB -- which equals 30-45 minutes depending on the audio format.

Well it all helps. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to Rockbox. It's so good not to have to use iTunes.
