Help! No 'pause' between songs!

I've posted a couple times in the last few days and have all my problems solved it appears, with the exception of this one: I am a musician using my Rockboxed Sansa C250 to play backing tracks. If I have 10 songs lined up to play, there is about a 1-2 second delay before the next song starts to play. I need this to play 1 song and stop until I hit the 'next' button or something along those lines. Any ideas for me? Is there possibly a patch like this somewhere? If so, tell me where I might find it.

There's not really a feature like this at the moment. The best thing would probably just be to play a single song, with repeat off, so that when it stops you're in the filetree and can play the next one. Of course for a minimum of button presses, make sure they're in the right order and in one folder.

Thanks for the reply. Question: I'm not a programmer or anything but is it possible that I could request that somebody code me up a patch or something that would do this? Where would I do this at?
I appreciate your help with possibly dumb questions, but I'm a total noob.

There's a "Feature Requests" link on the left. Be sure to search first though. And don't be too hopeful, it's somewhat rare that requests get fulfilled (most programmers spend their time working on ideas they've already had).
