Sansa c250 hangs up at connecting to PC

Hi,

I got my new Sansa c250 and installed Rockbox... everything was going fine, no errors, I copyed mp3 files to this player and turned it off. When I turned it on, it appeard this "Refreshing Database" thing, it was loading for a moment and it stopped suddenly... and no reaction at all! I had to put out the battery just to turn it off...

Right now I can turn on the player, but it CAN NOT be connected to PC, because this "Refreshing Database" shows up immediately and just hangs up. I was wondering if I could uninstall Rockbox, but it seems that I can't do it without linking it with PC.

Thanks for advice :)

Enter recovery mode, copy the firmware over, and reboot. If you can then connect it to your computer, run "chkdsk /r" on it.

If that doesn't work, I recommend you enter recovery mode, format the device, then reboot, connect to your computer, and run "chkdsk /r" on it.

So you connected in recovery mode, copied an original, unzipped firmware to the 16MB partition, disconnected the player, saw the "Firmware updating" message, and then...?  Refreshing database still froze on you?

then I disconnected it from the PC, as it was in description, and then released the "hold" button, and rebooted it... just as instruction said. When I turned in on, everthing seemed to work. But after connecting it to PC, an old message appeared... :/
