H10 screen powers off

(1/1)

hunts31:
I loaded Rockbox on my H10 3 times and each time the screen powers off within seconds of finishing boot.  The screen will stay on if the unit is plugged into power or usb.  I checked all the system settings and preferences and coul not find anything that would cause the screen to shutdown.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Chronon:
Are you talking about the backlight timeout?  Rockbox allows you to set a timeout to shut off the backlight in the case of inactivity (in order to save battery life).  Is this what you are describing?

If so, any button press should turn it back on.

hunts31:
Yes, I think that is what is going on, but how do I adjust the timing?  I forget the exact heading, but there was a setting for the bachlight and it was set for 1 minute.  The backlight still went out within 1-3 seconds.  Thanks for the reply.

Chronon:
Search for "LCD Settings" in the manual.

That should help you.
