sin4peace:
hey does anyone know how play videos on ipod mini 2G
if it can can someone show me the steps

(sorry its such a noob question)

zajacattack:
You use MpegPlayer. You have to re-encode your videos to MPEG-1 or 2. See
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer#How_To_Encode_Files
for directions. I recommend WinFF as people find it easiest and most reliable.

sin4peace:
thanks man ill try that out

While the LCD itself only supports 4 colors (black, white and two shades of grey) the greyscale library allows much more "colors". I tried Elephants Dream on my Mini and the result is quite nice -- don't expect it to be comparable to a color display though.

Btw, even on m:robe100 (which doesn't even have greyscales) you can actually watch the video. I wouldn't want it for serious watching though.
