Switching Between Firmware

I have rockbox on my generation 5 (30 gig) video iPod. I read on another site that, with rockbox, you could switch between rockbox and the original Apple firmware. Is there any truth behind this?

Very interesting. Where would I find an ".ipod" file?

The file should be in the ".rockbox" folder. But that's not relevant. What you want is this:
