Chronon:
The image that's used currently can be found in the source tree. If you compile your own build the you can simply switch out the appropriate image from /apps/bitmaps/native/
LogoSwapper, if I recall correctly, is a Windows program that allows you to swap the image out of the compiled binary. I have never used it and it's not directly a part of Rockbox.
yapper:
This is the wiki page for LogoSwapper, and it includes a link to SVN for the original bitmaps:
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/LogoSwapper
eekhoornstaartlolly:
well yes I tried it but it only allows you the original image by an image that is from the same size. and i'd like to use the whole screen.
therefore I'll see what I can do to compile my own. but what is it actually that you are compiling when you make one of your own, some sort of secondary bootloader?
Llorean:
No, you're compiling an entire alternate build. The splash screen doesn't display until after you leave the bootloader and Rockbox itself is starting.
eekhoornstaartlolly:
Ha yes, I see
I will download the source and modify it, so I don't need to make an entie new one.
also, the updates, shall I need to make my own updates?
