gen1 ipod mini - not charging or power on

Hi,

I recently installed rockbox, all was working fine for a few days...

The pod displayed plenty of battery life left before I turned it off the other day, then when I went to turn it back on it flashed a battery symbol with a lightning bolt in it, then died. I have not been able to charge it, see it when connected to a PC or turn it on.

The pod seems completely dead. I first suspected the battery was dead but it should still charge even a little, or at least work when connected to the PC or AC.

I should note, I did run that "battery test" plugin once, but thought I turned it off again.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Try this:
1. Connect to your charger or PC.
2. Reboot the iPod by hold MENU+SELECT

If that fails, try leaving it in the charger for a while and then trying to reset it again.
