Is this the same iPod? if something go wrong?

I want to download rockbox on my ipod, have the iPod Nano 3rd generation 4 GB but on the picture it not the same as mine. But is it the same?

What do i do if something goes amiss? if the ipod becomes blasted at rockbox , what do i do about it?? can someone help?? I'm afraid for any amiss.

Sry if im not good in english, becouse im from norway and im just 12 years old.

Rockbox does not work on the 3G Nano - which is why the picture we have on our site isn't of 3G Nano, but of a 1G Nano.

The nano build is also quite clearly labeled "iPod Nano 1st gen".

Is it no other way to get background or things like that on my ipod? I have tryed ipodwizard, but its only come up: Out of memory. I have see movie but it dosent work.

There is no other way (not that I know of, anyway).

The 3G nano has encrypted firmware and new hardware compared to the old iPod models. The same goes for the iPod Classic.
