Apple Ipod mini 2 gen - no sound?

Hi

Recently got hold of an Apple Ipod mini 2 gen.  Have done the cf mod to it (using a 16 gig peak card).  After a bit of teeth grinding and cursing I have managed to put Rockbox on the mini and also worked out how to put music  on it.

However when I select play on the files that I copied over they play, tag files are recognised and get now next information but theres no volume.  I can alter the volume ok but theres not a peep out of the player (and yes it works tested that before doing the mod).  So any ideas?  Had a look in the manual but didn't really see anything there that would help, google doesn't bring up a lot either.

Rockbox was installed using a windows pc, the music folder and files created on mac os x if that matters.

PS Bet its something really simple and I'm going to kick (yes I HAVE got the headphones plugged in ;) ) my self.

Have you tested to verify it works *after* doing the mod, to make sure you didn't bump something while you had it open?

Looks like I'm going to have to open up the ipod again to have a look at it.  Damn.

No sound on one of the mp3s that I know work.  Also when I turn the clicker setting to headphones theres no sound either.

Ah well back to the drawing board.
