320 harddrive life decreasing with normal playback?

Hello,
I mainly want to use my h320 for recording only.
but if i use it also to play music in the car, will using it decrease the hardrive life  because its spinning all the time while in play mode?
and if so will it decrease the life of it that much to the point i should use it for recording purposes only?
its a mk2004gal  HD.

The hard drive does not spin all the time during playback.  It spins only long enough to fill the buffer.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.  If the hard drive eventually fails, you can replace it easily enough.
