insert/queue a track from a (saved) playlist to the current playlist?

(1/1)

surfer:
I wonder if it's possible to insert/queue as next a track to the currently playling dynamic playlist from another saved playlist, i.e. going first (by a short click on "select") to a saved playlist, clicking "view" in its context menu, going to a track on that playlist and inserting/queueing it as next to play.

If so: how?
Thanks in advance!

Well seeing as you have described exactly what you would logically expect to do given the way Rockbox works, why not just try it?

I just have, it took less time to do than it did to write this response and the result was...

no, it doesn't work.

To be slightly less flippant, I don't think it's possible, but only because it has not been thought of/coded. Given that a playlist entry is only a path to a file, I see no logical reason why it couldn't be coded.

Look in Flyspray at the Feature Requests and if it's not there, put a request in.

Thanks for you answer. I tried that of course before i posted but because i'm relatively new to the rockbox i was not sure if maybe there wasn't another option for that i did not see.

Now i posted at flyspray.

Let's see what happens with my request.
