ok. when you say i need to copy the movie onto my iPod, what am I supposed to do.  am i supposed to copy it on itunes somehow or do i move the file from my documents to my G drive? by the why im using winff to encode my movie.

GodEater:
Copy it to your G: Drive. (Assuming that's what your ipod shows up as).

mabarker93:
ok GodEater, i think i understand what your saying.  Does that mean i copy the D to my G drive?? (D drive being Anchorman)..

Chronon:
The output of WinFF should be a .mpg file that has the right properties to be displayed on your player.  One way to get it where you want it is to drag and drop this file onto your player.

ok, i put in the disk. went to winff and pressed add. then i clicked on anchorman (d drive). the two files showed up: Audio_TS and Video_TS.  Audio_TS had one file in it so i added that.   then i clicked on video ts.  it had a lot so i highlighted all of them at once and pressed add.  now i set the winff program to convert to rockbox, RB Apple iPod nano 16:9, and i set the output folder as the G drive. everything worked, i encoded the disks and it was sent to my G drive and then i unplugged my ipod.  i then went to files on rockbox using my ipod.  i clicked on the video. then a black screen came up with no sound.  it also said that the movie was only six minutes and three seconds long.  any help?? i was as detailed as possible.
