how do i get Rockbox on iPod

i just downloaded Rockbox on Windows XP.  I plugged my iPod in and iTunes popped up. Now, im stuck.  I don't know what to do after this.  Can someone tell me how i actually get the program on my iPod.

i read that a lot but im still confused.

i think the problem is that i need a rockbox bootloader.  how do i get one and how do i put it on my iPod.

Now, be more specific. Exactly what do you not understand about the directions. As well, what generation iPod do you have?

well, i have a white iPod nano, 1st generation.  I went to rockbox.org and clicked on the tab that said current build.  I then clicked on the download for the iPod Nano 1st gen.  I downloaded it w/o a problem.  Now im stuck.  I don't know how to get it on my iPod.  The manual says something about a iPod Bootloader and a Rockbox bootloader.  I dont know if i have the Rockbox bootloader.  So, now i am just confused even more.  Can someone tell me step by step what i need to do/download from here.

Rockbox Utility should do it. If it fails, just do a manual install
