This bug is still on the Sansa series.  I am using an e260, and I use the replaygain as well.  I find that the 3/31 snapshot reduces the problem, but it's still there...

Just as a note, his report that the bug was still there was with a slightly older daily build which dates back to *before* Nico_P closed the task.
