does rockbox even work witht the e250r

well i got as far as step .6 run the e200rpatcher.exe file and the is what came up.

is their a e250rpatcher.exe that i need?
I want rockbox oh so so bad please help

Are you sure it is an e200R and not an e200?  What is the Sansa firmware on the Sansa right now?

it is for sure an e250R . on the bottom right hand  corner it states the model name. the e250r is the rhapsody 2 gig sansa player.

Please read the description at the top of the E200R installation page for details on how to verify that it's truly a rhapsody model.

People, it found his player, so it's an R series.

The cause of that error is unknown right now, breakdownfiend. Try it again. It should work eventually.

No - e200rpatcher can't tell the difference between a normal e200 and an R model.

But equally, e200rpatcher should work on both - so the problem isn't related to whether the device is an R model or not.
