Just want to confirm - after installing rockbox, every time i want to load files to and from c250 i have to connect in MSC mode (hold > rew >connect cable). Is there any way to get around this? I've read other posts where users complain they can't see any files because the player reverts back to sansa firmware when connected to pc. Same happened in my case, so i tried MSC mode and can see files and move to/from the player.

No. Not until Rockbox USB is working reliably.
