« on: April 05, 2008, 04:33:16 PM »
i accidentaly erased the entire memory on my e270 using disk utilty on my mac.  i reformated it in mac os format.  when it didnt work i reformated it to fat 32.  after unplugging it i now cant get it to mount and when i turn it on i just get black screen.  i took battery out to reset but that didnt work.  it just seems dead. just the blue light goes on around the wheel.

can anyone help.

i can do in windows or mac

thanks

I think recovery mode will still work for you, so try that first.

How did they not work ? Could you not get into them, or did it fail afterwards ?

manufacturing mode will always work.

The screen doesn't come on in manufacturing mode as I recall, but I think it should in recovery mode.  You may have to use the former.

Hold power for 15 seconds or so.
