That blue one is identical  :-\ ... hopefully the other ones are not like this case... and pijulius releases them... those are great themes anyway

pijulius:
Hi Guys,

First of all thanks for all the Rockbox Developers for bringing in the viewport feature and hopefully custom font feature (if not already) into the svn tree, at least there is no need to trouble with all the patches  ;D

Now to Evilg123  ;) big thanks for bringing this theme back to live, as you all noticed I didn't do much (anything at all if I may say) lately on this but anyway thanks for porting the theme over to svn and now it seems there is something wrong with the license thingy and maybe I will be able to help with this.

Indeed, the blue background is from OsX and this one too:

and the rest of the backgrounds are from DeviantArt.com as I browse and find the best backgrounds there but regarding the rest of the themes, every pixel, borders, buttons are done by me using Photoshop and you can get the psd from here:
http://pijulius.com/julius/rockbox/PSDs/jClix.psd

and I know it looks like the iRiver Clix original theme but that was the reason why I created it so I'm not sure about copyright things, but except the backgrounds I think the rest of the theme can be (so to say) my copyright cos you have the right to release OsX themes for windows too so if there is anything you want me to sign just let me know and I will do it as I'm more than happy to give any licensing to it as I'm happy this theme has so many lovers  ::)

Bottom line: please let me know exactly what you would like from me to do and if it's in my hand I will for sure.

Cheers,
Julius

hhannah:
Great that you came back  ;)

About the license, based on what I've seen in the  wiki's themes, it would be enough if you would pick a license type say from Creative Commons (like many themes in the wiki do): http://creativecommons.org/about/license/ and put it in the wiki where your themes are, and in the .wsp and .cfg files

You should also mention the people that created the images you use, I reckon at DeviantArt.com their licensing is also specified, and so if it allows the works to be used, it may be mentioned.

soap:
One thing you might want to consider doing is packaging up and releasing your personal work under (for example) a Creative Commons license of your choice, and pointing people in the direction of where the copyrighted backgrounds come from.

Llorean:
Of course the copyrighted backgrounds all need a license posted that lets you have modified them for use in your theme.
