new theme: jClix for SVN [iPod 320x240]

On the iPod "Stop" is performed by a long press of Play/Pause.
It's not such a silly question. I agree that Stop graphics for the WPS seem extraneous. Pressing Stop ends playback, clears the playlist and exits the While Playing Screen. Any display of a "stop" state in the WPS will be short lived, as mruddo said. I would agree that it's probably worth eliminating from WPSs. Why not save the memory?

I did wonder if this may have been deliberate: i.e. to show what the button does, as opposed to what the player is doing. It's a little unconventional, but does make some sense!

I agree, if that's the intention, though unusual, it's a nice idea... makes sense when you look at how the "buttons" are displayed on the screen. In that case, there's still something to do about ffw & rew, apply a similar logic, remove the %xdd & %xde instructions...
Edit: I checked the original pijulius version, and it was indeed intended to be as you explained. The existing ffw & rew instructions, while lacking of the corresponding images, makes the intention confuse though... anyway, it was like that from before. So it seems that it is just that %xdd & %xde are unnecessary in %?mp

OKÂ ;)... I guess I didn't call it "stopping" because when I resume playing, it goes back to the playing position where it was (is this settings-related?)... but regardless, it is clear that "stop" is not displayed (except for the short period mentioned)

I totally agree (maybe in the CustomWPS wiki?)
Chronon:
Sure. I think a note about this would be appropriate.

To avoid going further "off topic", I started http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=16325.0. Feedback / ideas / corrections would be appreciated!

I don't want to be a party-pooper, for this is exactly the effort in cleaning up modernizing WPSs I like to see, but do we have a clear chain-of-license?
