Radio Recording / Start & Stop based upon time of day?

For some reason I get errors trying to search the forums here.
Hopefully this isn't a FAQ I'm going to get blasted for.

Is there a way (or is someone working on a way) to have the radio automatically start and stop recording (preferrably based upon time of day)?

I want to record something every weekday (every day is ok) at the same time, so that I don't have to wake up and listen myself.

Is this the kind of thing you are seeking? It seems to me that this patch would work for what you want. You would just have to set the timer each night so that it records in the morning.
