Is there a way to play music while playing Doom or Rockboy on an iPod?

I don't think so on the Ipod, since Doom and rockboy probably both need the same IRAM as the codecs, and it cannot be shared between them.  Its probably possible on faster targets like the Gigabeat that don't need IRAM.

Doom - No, because it needs more RAM than is allowed for plugins without claiming the audio buffer.

Rockboy - Yes, on targets where the CPU is fast enough (currently just the gigabeat F/X), you can play Rockboy at the same time as listening to music, assuming the ROM is small enough to fit into the RAM allocated for plugins.
