Is it true that rockbox supports microSD cards bigger than 2GB?
Chronon:
I don't know where you've looked, but it looks like I can get an 8GB microSDHC for about $50 (US).

It's just that the standard allows for them whenever someone comes up with the ability to manufacture them. 8 GB I don't know about, they may not exist yet either. The largest I've personally seen is 6 GB and they are still rather expensive.

16GB cards do exist - but they're not cheap.

Ah, excellent. I guess it's been longer than I thought since the last time I looked. Maybe time to get some extra space for my sansa...

The big thing that has not been mentioned is that as the OF does not suppoer more than 2Gig you can't load stuff to the card using the OF USB mode, and the Rockbox one is not yet released. So you have to use one of those external MicroSDHC to USB dongle things.
Ok not such a big thing but worth mentioning I think.

Or you could cut-and-paste from within Rockbox in order to transfer files. It's a little bit fiddly but, on the upside, you can do it from within Rockbox ;D
