Edit: Thanks to Buschel (and the others involved) for fixing the great crossfade feature!

And there was me, thinking I was the only one who thought crossfade was the best thing since sliced bread  ;)

Cheers, hhannah.  I agree this is an important bugfix.  I will have to test this out as soon as I can get a new build loaded tomorrow.

For the past two weeks I've been out of town and then on vacation; however, I was still following SVN access on my Treo and was so psyched to see the updates by Buschel (thank you Andree!)

I just want to say to you Humberto: THANKS for taking the time to create the initial FS entry (which I've been meaning to do for two years) which possibly gave this the visibility it needed to finally get fixed. :)
Peace!

hhannah:

I feel exactly the same way as you do!!!  Crossfade was the main reason why I sticked to Rockbox initially.

Anyways, if it wasn't for you, we'd probably still have this issue!

Surely the devs that actually fixed the problem deserve some credit too?

ALL the credit for this great fix (and MANY other things! - just to put it in a simple way), sincerely, and I hope it gets to them like that since that's the main intention from this post.. I'm also sure all we crossfade fans feel the same way  ;)

I feel exactly the same way about crossfade.  I have a 4th Gen iPod and because of Rockbox, I consider my old iPod to be a true classic over the new classic.  I also have a 1st Gen Nano that I work out with and uses crossfade as well, which I think where Rockbox really shine.  Thanks Again Rockbox!!!
