why arnt some of the themes working???

hi,
i m new to all this...so plz bear with my n00b-ness.
i downloaded and properly placed many of the themes from http://iPod Video Theme Gallery.
most of them are working fine...but some of them like
jBlackGlass Themes
jClix Themes
are not working.
i saw the note telling to patch rockbox....
but i didnot understand how to.
i downloaded the "psd" files but i dont have a clue of what to do with them.
plz help.

wow!! that was easy...i went to http://solutions-i.org/julius/rockbox/ and downloaded the rockbox-jbuild-5g-20070322.zip and extracted it...now its working!!
;D 8-)
but if theres something else i should know...plz lemme know it...

I suggest you use real English words and not slang. Also, I suggest using the modify button if no one has posted since you (instead of double posting). The mods get frustrated easily with slang words and with double posting.

zajac: The reason to follow the rules isn't to "not get yelled at" (unless you're a 4-year old), there are actually positive reasons for following them, no?
creeping death: You should know that if you have any problems with that version of Rockbox you won't be able to be helped out here. It's also missing a lot of features that have been added to the current version of the software since March, 2007, including a serious power-saving rework, album art support, etc. A better solution to your problem would be to fix those themes so that they work with the current build.

Or alternatively, accept that those themes won't work with current Rockbox, and wait for new themes to be created which make use of the recent advancements to the theming facilities in (official) Rockbox.
Especially as a new user, I would recommend you start with the official Rockbox build, as you'll be able to get help with problems on these forums.
