cannot play mpeg on 5th gen ipod

i deleted my old .rockbox and installed new r16941 build
everything working now
but sometimes i'm getting error "data abort at 0000E274(0)" or sometimes just black screen when playing mpeg files
i cannot go back i have restart my ipod

i forgot to mention i more thing
i upgraded my ipod original firmware to 1.3 version using itunes 7.6

i guess this has nothing to do with the error?

It might have something to do with it.  Though, I would think if this was a real causal relationship that we would be seeing a rash of complaints about this.  Can you also reset your settings to default?  

Did this start happening right after an iPod firmware update?
