load main image failed

when i install the rockbox star this problem when it finished to install the rockbox on my sandisk sansa mp3 restart and when it start say load image failed switch to recovery mode. i alredy do recovery mode but i doenst work can someone help me.

Recovery mode should work perfectly. Did you make sure that yours was(n't) an R series when you installed rockbox? Because it appears you have installed the wrong bootloader.

Get to recovery mode and install the OF. Then use the correct rockbox installation instructions.

Thank you SO much for this! My sansa died this morning, and I hadn't been able to get the computer to read it. I followed your link and the instructions, and now it is up and running again. Thanks again for not letting me acquire a 50 dollar paperweight!!! lol
