iMac and creating voice files
« on: March 25, 2008, 06:37:18 AM »
I am another one of those blind users.

I am really pleased with Rockbox, it has really helped me as music was muy life before I lost my sight.

Anyway I am hving issues trying to generate a voice file with the nice apple voices...

The rockbox utility has no luck helping me on this one, even with sighted assistance.

I have no problem generating the mp3 audio clips with no lead in or cutoff etc. but looking at the .lang file I hae no idea what constitutes a voice string.
I have access to a Vista based PC as well so would it be practical for me to generate all of the voice strings (whatever they need to be) and then carrying on with the Windows way?

any help is much appreciated,

James.
