Viewports over Album Art...

(1/2) > >>

Angyman:
I tried now several things without success and wanted to know if someone else found a workaround:

Case: Draw Text at the position of the Album Art if no album art is found...

Problem: I get only scrolling lines drawn (if they actually scroll... the pure %s definition is not sufficient)

Why: Very small Screen... Would like to enjoy album art very big if possible otherwise draw text with different fonts = different viewports. As far as i know theres not yet any possibility to define viewports in conditionals which would solve this entirely

Hweb21:
You mean one viewport or two (one for album art and one for text)

With one viewport define the album art in the text viewport

--- Code: ---%V|11|25|136|73|1|B8B8B8|000000|
%al%s%?C
%al%s%?C
%al%s%?C
%al%s%?C%ar%pp/%pe
%Cl|0|0|sc50|sc50|
%?C

--- End code ---

The font is 12pt, I see if you use two viewports then I can see the overlaping issue or if the text viewport is too small to fit the album art in.

Angyman:
Yes the margin trick works i know but doesnt allow different fonts sizes ;-(
Already tried that... but like you mentioned the overlapping viewports are the problem.

linuxstb:
No, there's no way to do what you want, but I would like there to be...

I'm still thinking about how to handle conditionals and viewports.

Angyman:
So i'll wait and hope  ;D
