I got the presets.xml file to work and it seems like everything was going smoothly. When I hit convert, the command window came up and vanished as soon as it appeared. I went into the preferences and enabled the pause after encoding and it threw me this line:

"Error while opening codec for input stream #0.1"

If someone could throw me a bone on the subject, I'd greatly appreciate it. This is getting irksome, considering I've tried other encoders and I can't get my audio and video to sync up at all. I figured the one you guys recommend the most would do the trick, considering its got the recommended presets.

Which operating system, Rockbox target, and preset are you using?

Windows XP, I have a Sansa e260, and I've tried both the 4:3 and 16:9 presets.

What is the audio format of the input file?

Yuashu:
-acodec mp3 -ab 128 -ar 44100

The Preset for the Sansa e200 series.
