3G iPod headphone detection

Can someone confirm whether or not this feature currently functions correctly on a 3rd gen iPod?

Please post results here (and/or on Flyspray http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/8519)

Edit:
One user has confirmed "Headphone detection works fine on my 3G iPod with current release code"
